The Aires continues to perform. It is too bad the rangefinder patch is so hard to see… Anyway there were a number of exposed Fuji Superia 200-rolls around and after developing them with Tetenal C-41 one was apparently taken with the Aires. Lucky!
So here goes in no special order… some pictures!
Correctly used it is surprisingly sharp. With no exposure control besides myself they are somewhat erratic though… I normally used f/8 or f/16 and a guesstimate shutter time.
Conclusions about the Aires: 1. I like the simplicity! It is a fun camera. 2. The lens is sharp, the f/2 the 40 mm are perfect. 3. The shooting style is really catching me. Must do more of this. Preferably with a visible rangefinder patch and some exposure control. Feel severe case of GAS coming…
